Tips for back friendly sleep

12/16/2014

Sleep posture can affect your spine wellness, and contribute to back pain.
When experiencing back pain, finding a comfortable position can be difficult. Try to remember the following:

1) Sleep in a neutral position;
This may involve sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees, or on your back with a pillow under your knees, and a small rolled up towel under your back.

2) When getting out of bed, roll to your side and bend both knees, drop your legs over the side of the bed and push yourself up with your arms from the side lying position.
