Here's another blog from a Milton chiropractor: What triggers back pain?
Often back pain can be triggered by everyday activities, especially ones requiring repetitive motions (using the vacuum for instance), driving for long periods of time, and having poor posture.
While certain actions can trigger immediate back pain, it is not uncommon for back pain to develop gradually, over time.
It's important to remember that daily exercise helps reduce the number of flare ups, and try to continue to keep active as your back heals.
Back pain prevention tips:
- back stretching/ strengthening exercises
- proper posture
- avoid heavy lifting and utilize proper lifting techniques when lifting
- chiropractic wellness check ups/ maintenance care
