Milton chiropractor discusses: staying pain free at work

8/20/2016

Here's another blog from a Milton chiropractor discussing: staying pain free at work
If you have a desk job, it's important to reduce prolonged sitting if you wish to decrease your risk of developing back pain.

Here are a few things you can do to try to break the sitting routine during your work day:
  • standing to use the phone.
  • walk over to talk to a colleague at their desk instead of calling them on the phone.
  • stand up and take a mini stretch break.
  • use your break or part of lunch time to go for a walk.
  • use a smaller water bottle so you have to get up more often to refill it.
