Milton chiropractor discusses: Easing into a back to school sleep schedule

8/21/2018

Here's another blog by a Milton chiropractor discussing: Easing into a back to school sleep schedule
The summer is winding down and back to school is around the corner. Here are some suggestions on how to ease your child back into a regular bedtime routine.
  1. Start easing your child back into a regular sleep schedule approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of school by gradually setting an earlier bedtime and wake time until you return to a regular schedule.
  2. Limit the use of devices / tv prior to bedtime to allow your child quiet time to wind down.
  3. Establish a bedtime routine such as a bath or book before bed to allow your child relaxation time prior to bed
  4. Maintain a sleep schedule even on weekends
